Two years of clinical training.

Over two years, Licensed Massage Therapists work alongside experienced Certified Precision Neuromuscular Therapists (CPNMTs) in our clinic. You’ll develop clinical reasoning, precise assessment, and targeted treatment through work with real clients under direct mentorship.

What you’ll learn.

Clinical Reasoning

Evaluate each client’s pain pattern and use what you find to guide treatment.

Precise Assessment

Use range of motion, orthopedic, and exclusionary muscle testing to identify the source of pain.

Targeted Treatment

Learn accurate, focused work on the tissue your assessment identifies.

Real Client Experience

Work with clients from day one. You observe, then assist, then lead sessions with your mentor guiding you.

Learn alongside practicing therapists.

Most PNMT training happens in weekend seminars. At Somavida, you learn in the clinic, mentored by therapists who treat complex pain conditions every day. You'll join a team led by Clinic Director Sarah Lashley, who has been teaching the TMJ Intensive class for Precision Neuromuscular Therapy seminars since 2016.

You won't be on your own. You'll watch experienced therapists work, join New Client Sessions alongside a CPNMT, get direct feedback on your technique, and take on more as your skills grow.
